We had a few potential spots which we thought would be good angles for the fireworks, and we ended up walking down the Merlion park to find our spot which was opposite Hitachi Tower, facing the partially constructed IR towers. .... It's like a fireworks show really. Anyway, I did run this morning once more in my return from that pesky calf strain. Got up a bit later than I wanted to, so by the time I was out it was well past 8am and already hot and sticky. ... I didn' t bring any water, but did stop for a big drink at a water fountain in Taylor Creek Park. Other that that it was OK. The lines were very long. Even the less popular ride had 3-4 cycle waits. This was defiantly not going to be a rides day. Though I rode alone on the larger rides and was able to jump up to fill a seat form time to time. I was able to get a fair number of rides in ... The unique show on my trip was the Saturday Night Fireworks. The park has this show every Saturday Form the 4th of July through the end of August.
